WELCOME!!
The Family Crisis Center's 9th Annual Festival of Trees
Kicking off the Holiday Season in Style!
The Family Crisis Center's 9th annual Festival of Trees and So Much More… is right around the corner
and the Center invites you to join us as we ring in the Holiday season. This year’s Festival of Trees
is November 20th, 2010 at 6:00pm, and will be held at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa
located at 575 Hyatt Lost Pines Road, 7 miles west of Bastrop and 20 minutes from the Austin Airport
on Hwy 71. The magical evening offers the community a venue for welcoming the holiday season. The
event includes live and silent auctions, a raffle, and display of all of the items generously donated by the
community. The items range from decorated Christmas trees of all sizes and themes, to holiday wreaths,
centerpieces, gift baskets, children's playhouses, trips, gift certificates and much more. In addition, local
restaurants from the Bastrop and Austin area will be showcased in a "Taste of the Area", featuring hors
d'oeuvres, desserts, wine and other beverages.
All proceeds of the Festival of Trees will benefit the Family Crisis Center. The mission of the Family Crisis
Center is to be the expert resource and service provider in eliminating domestic and sexual violence
in Bastrop, Colorado, Fayette and Lee Counties. The vision of the Center is a safe community built on
equality without the existence of violence. It is the Center’s belief that healthy relationships are based on
respect, trust, support, honesty and accountability. With over 25 years as a non-profit domestic violence
and sexual assault agency, the Family Crisis Center provides the following types of services: safety
& shelter, information & referral services, prevention education, community partnerships and
violence intervention programs.
