The Center's Needs
Shelter needs (new items only):
- Towels/washcloths
- Hair brushes/combs
- Toothpaste/toothbrushes
- Shampoo
- Lotion
- Razors
- Alarm clocks
- Underwear and socks for children/adults
- Bras
Office needs (new items for emergency food pantry):
- Canned vegetables or fruit
- Canned meat
- Canned beans
- Single servings of stew, soup or pasta
- Boxes of macaroni and cheese
- Dry beans
- Rice
- Powdered milk
- Diapers/baby wipes
- Formula
Special project needs:
Throughout the year, the Center provides school supplies and holiday gifts to the clients of the Center. Check with the Bastrop main office, 512-321-7760, if you or your community group wants to help out with any of these special projects.
School supply drive items needed:
- Composition notebooks (1, 3 and 5 subject wide rule)
- Notebook paper (wide rule)
- Supply boxes for crayons
- Rulers
- Water soluble markers
- 2 inch binders
- Hand sanitizer
- Tissues
Or you can make your tax deductible checks to the Family Crisis Center (note School Supply Drive).
Bits & Pieces Thrift Store needs:
The store accepts donations of gently used, ready to sell: clothing, dishes, glassware, silverware, collectibles, art work, appliances, bedding, linens, furniture, jewelry, sports items, and lamps during regular store hours. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 9am-7pm at 4107 Hwy 71 E, Bastrop, TX, 78602.
